The Lebanese judiciary accuses Nancy Ajram's husband of premeditated murder

What the Attorney General did:

Judge Ghada Aoun, the Lebanese Public Prosecutor, today, Wednesday, filed a claim against the name of Fadi Al-Hashem, husband of the famous artist Nancy Ajram, the claim was marked with the crime of premeditated murder, in reference to the killing of a Syrian youth in Nancy Ajram's villa.

Where her husband, the dentist, Dr. Fadi Al-Hashem, killed a Syrian youth, with the accusation of banditry and his attempt to steal the villa, the story took another dimension and turned into an Arab public opinion issue, and spread like wildfire on social media.

The defense lawyer’s reaction was:

While Dr. Fadi Al-Hashim’s deputy, the lawyer, Gabi Germanos, commented that the current lawsuit is not surprising, against Dr. Fadi Al-Hashim, and that the movement of the file is very natural, and Gabi, Al-Hashim’s lawyer, confirmed that the first investigating judge in Baabda will issue a clear decision regarding the acquittal of Dr. Fadi Al-Hashem, Nancy Ajram's husband, considering that what he did was pure self-defense, and he went on to say: The conditions for legitimate defense are available in the case, according to what is legislated in Lebanese law.

The repercussions of the accident

The local Lebanese channels published a video and circulated the social media platforms, the most important of which is Twitter, several days ago, where the video shows the entry of the Syrian young man, "according to Nancy and her husband, according to the clip that was shown" to the house with his weapon, until Dr. Fadi noticed him Hashem, so he caught up with him and met him in one of the villa rooms.

After the Syrian youth was killed by Dr. Fadi Al-Hashem, the Lebanese security forces entered the villa to find out the merits of the case and start the investigation.

Soon, the solidarity reactions began with Nancy Ajram and her husband, Dr. Fadi Al-Hashem. The most famous supporters were the artist Haifa Wehbe, and the journalist Tony Khalifa, and the presenter known as the Nishan name, while the Syrian youth had solidarity with many of the social media visitors.

While the victim's mother stated that the video shown, and its source from the surveillance cameras in the villa, is fabricated and aimed at covering up and misleading the competent authorities.

Until this moment, she did not know what the relationship of the murdered Syrian youth to the family of actress Nancy Ajram, the victim’s family said: that their son went to the villa to claim his financial dues, and the victim’s mother confirmed that her son had been in Lebanon 13 years ago, and no precedents were recorded against him. And he didn't need the money to steal.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Fadi Al-Hashem fired 16 bullets towards the victim’s body, and this confirms that it is a premeditated murder, and not an attempt to defend himself, according to the 

words of the victim’s mother.

In his role, called Nihad Al-Hashem, who is the brother of Fadi Al-Hashem, confirmed that there is no relationship between the victim and the family of Nancy Ajram.
